Standard Premium Rate
We are required to
charge a rate of 10% on each bond with in the state of New Jersey. Rates
in other states, which we call transfer bonds may vary.
10% Qualified Premium Rate
We are happy
to offer the 10% premium rate to customers who meet the following
qualifications:

Retained Private Defense
Counsel - The attorney must be retained within five (5) days of the
bond execution date. A letter from the attorney retained or a copy
of the retainer agreement between attorney and client must be
received by 1st Class Bail Bonds within (30) days of the bond
execution date.

Union Members
- Must be actively enrolled in a union or receiving disability or
retirement benefits from a union and must provide proof to 1st Class
Bail Bonds within (30) days of the bond execution date. A current
pay stub or statement showing payment of union dues within the past
(30) days or a letter from the Union stating
the member is in good standing is required.

Active or Veteran Members of
the Military and their Immediate Family - Co-signers and defendants
who are members of the United States Military must provide 1st Class
Bail Bonds with a current Military ID Card, a signed military
declaration from either the military (Form DD214), or a signed
declaration from the Service member with service member's ID card.
In all cases, proof of Military service must be received within (30)
days of the bond execution date.
Bond Fee
In addition to the applicable premium rate, the following bond fees are
needed a $30.00 filing fee will be charged on all indictable charges.
This fee is for the State of New Jersey.
